Agreement To These Terms

By using UseMemo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. UseMemo is currently built for iPhone and distributed through the App Store.

What UseMemo Does

UseMemo is a personal product memory app. It helps you save products, log outcomes, search your history, check before buying, set reminders, track stash and expiry details, compare versions, and export or import backups.

UseMemo is not a generic notes app, inventory list, social feed, public review platform, or shopping marketplace.

Free And Pro Features

UseMemo includes a free tier and a UseMemo Pro subscription. Free features may include up to 10 products, product photos, OCR-assisted text selection, usage logs, ratings, custom log fields, text search, text Quick Check, basic daily reminders, treatment plans, and backup import.

UseMemo Pro may unlock unlimited products, stash management, expiry tracking, camera/image search, Quick Check camera scanning, advanced reminder strategies, Smart Insights, version history, full backup export, and long-term ownership workflows.

Features may change over time as the app evolves. Some features may depend on device capabilities, permissions, operating system support, or App Store availability.

Subscriptions, Billing, And Cancellation

UseMemo Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems. Apple handles billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, localized pricing, and payment method management under Apple's terms.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account or App Store subscription settings. UseMemo may include Restore Purchases to refresh subscription status.

Your Content And Responsibility

You are responsible for the products, photos, notes, outcomes, custom fields, reminders, treatment plans, and other information you add to UseMemo. You should only add content that you have the right to store and use.

UseMemo helps organize your own history. It does not guarantee that a product will work, remain available, keep the same formula, or be safe or appropriate for your use.

No Medical, Health, Or Professional Advice

UseMemo may support routines, reminders, treatment plans, usage logs, and product outcomes. These tools are for personal organization only. UseMemo does not provide medical, health, dermatology, nutrition, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Always follow product labels, professional guidance, and applicable safety instructions. For medical or health concerns, consult a qualified professional.

Reminders And Notifications

Reminders are optional convenience features. Notification delivery is not guaranteed and may depend on device settings, notification permissions, operating system behavior, time zones, battery settings, and other factors outside UseMemo's control.

You are responsible for checking any important routine, treatment, replacement, or review schedule independently.

Backups, Imports, And Data Loss

UseMemo Pro can export a backup archive. Backup files may include product photos, product versions, usage outcomes, notes, stash fields, expiry fields, custom log fields, treatment plans, and treatment event history.

You are responsible for storing exported backups securely. Importing a backup replaces current local app data with the imported data. Reminder schedules are not imported as active notifications, and UseMemo may ask you to set them up again.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse UseMemo. For example, you must not:

• Use UseMemo in a way that violates applicable law or App Store rules.
• Try to bypass subscription gates or payment systems.
• Reverse engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the app or its services.
• Use UseMemo to store content you do not have the right to use.
• Rely on UseMemo as the only source for critical health or safety decisions.

Intellectual Property

UseMemo, including its name, interface, design, branding, graphics, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of UseMemo to you.

You keep responsibility for the content you add to the app, subject to the rights needed for UseMemo to store, display, organize, export, import, and process that content for app functionality.

Disclaimers

UseMemo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or operating system version, or that every reminder, scan, search, insight, import, or export will be perfect.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UseMemo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, lost purchases, missed reminders, subscription issues handled by Apple, product decisions, or reliance on app outputs.

Changes To UseMemo Or These Terms

We may update UseMemo or these terms as the product changes. If these terms change, the updated version will show a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of UseMemo after changes means you accept the updated terms.
